Jos Buttler and Jofra Archer return as England announce squad for limited-overs series against Australia

  • After being rested for the T20I series against Pakistan, Jofra Archer and Jos Buttler have been called up for England’s limited-overs series against Australia.
  • England will play three ODIs and as many T20Is against Ashes rivals. Joe Root hasn’t been included in the T20I squad but he’s a part of the three-match ODI series.
  • Mark Wood and Sam Curran have been included in both T20I and ODI squads while Chris Woakes has been slotted into the 50-overs side.

  • N Srinivasan’s statement on Suresh Raina in an interview went viral on Sunday night and it also indicated at a possible rift between the franchise and the cricketer.
  • ‘Sometimes success gets into your head’ were Srinivasan’s words while addressing the issue and it cleared that all is not well with Raina who pulled out of entire IPL last week.
